European Level Crossing Forum) and the
SELCAT project (Safer
European Level Crossing Appraisal and Technology). You will find
here last developments in terms of management, research and best practices
on the level crossings.
Since 2005
ELCF has brought together rail and
highway safety professionals from European countries in order to
exchange information and provide experiences and lessons for
improving the management of level crossing safety and
performance.

SELCAT was a
Co-ordination Action of the European
Commission's 6th Framework Programme involving 24 partners and
dedicated to collect, structure, cluster, analyse and
disseminate existing world-wide research results to stimulate
new knowledge exchange in the area of level crossing
safety.
